Johann Baptist Cramer was an English pianist, composer and music publisher of German origin. He was a pupil of Clementi and continued his school. Apart from his Etudes which are essential for budding pianists he also composed 105 sonatas, 7 concertos and a great number of various pieces such as rondos, variations, fantasies etc.
